Since introducing the CX-90 for model year 2024, Mazda has taken a different approach with its flagship crossover. While many automakers have reduced the cylinder count in their powerplants, the 2026 Mazda CX-90 boasts robust six-cylinder power enhanced with a turbocharger. The result is a three-row crossover that puts out up to 340 horsepower and can reach 60 mph time in as little as 6.3 seconds.

Mazda has broadened the CX-90 lineup for 2026 with the introduction of the 3.3 Turbo S Premium Sport, a new trim that pairs the higher-output powerplant with additional luxury features. They’ve also added driver attention monitoring on higher trims, made Alexa Built-in standard across the range, and expanded the paint palette with Polymetal Gray Metallic. There’s also a plug-in hybrid variant, the CX-90 PHEV, which we cover separately.
