The 2025 Mazda CX-30 is made in eight trims: S, Select Sport, Preferred, Carbon Edition, Premium, Carbon Turbo, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus. Most are set up with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 191 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque. The Turbo models feature a more powerful turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that cranks out up to 250 hp and 320 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drivetrain. Moving up to the Preferred will get you heated front seats with power adjustability for the driver, position memory for the driver’s seat and side mirrors, and a power moonroof. The Carbon Edition adds a touch of flair with black exterior accents, exclusive Polymetal Gray Metallic paint, red leather upholstery, and a wireless phone charge pad. Meanwhile, the Premium builds on the Preferred with genuine leather upholstery, a head-up display, wireless phone charging, a power liftgate, and signature LED headlights and taillights.
If you want an even more eye-catching look, turn to the Carbon Turbo with its Zircon Sand Metallic paint and Terracotta-colored leatherette upholstery, which replace the Polymetal Gray and red leather combo seen in the Carbon Edition. The Turbo Premium resembles the non-turbo Premium, although it receives the beefier engine, a heated steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a windshield wiper de-icer. At the top, the Turbo Premium Plus adds an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror.
The 2025 Mazda CX-30 comes with the comprehensive i-Activesense safety suite, which bundles forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beams, and driver attention monitoring. The Premium, Turbo Premium, and Turbo Premium Plus introduce an adaptive front lighting system and traffic sign recognition. The range-topping Turbo Premium Plus gains a surround-view camera, reverse automatic braking, and traffic assist for a more confident driving experience.
The user-friendly Mazda Connect infotainment system is operated via the Multifunction Commander knob on the center console rather than the more common touchscreen. The base S has an 8.8-inch display with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system, and Bluetooth hands-free phone and audio streaming. The Select Sport and Preferred add Amazon Alexa, while the Carbon Edition steps things up with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, HD Radio, and an eight-speaker audio system.
The Carbon Turbo moves up to a 10.25-inch display, which is also standard in the Turbo Premium and Turbo Premium Plus. These upper-level trims – along with the non-turbo Premium – also come with Mazda Online Navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a first-rate 12-speaker Bose audio system with surround-sound.
