Balise Mazda

My fiance wanted a new SUV and I read positive things about the CX-5 so we decided to take a look. I shopped a few dealers online and Balise had one we wanted. We made an appointment to go up and take a test drive. We were greeted by Ashley who had the CX-5 pulled up and ready for us. They weren't really pushy and the purchase was pretty simple. Well I do have to say as we all know that buying a car is just a headache. For the past few months I had been looking for a Mazda CX-7 used. I had been going back and forth with dealers through email and no one had what I wanted or even said that they could get what I wanted except for Balise Mazda. I was in touch with Ashley who was wonderful and down to earth and easy to talk with....no pressure from her. As we got to talking and I decided that I wanted to buy a new one since Balise Mazda had the best prices around. Ashley was the first one to tell me she could get what I wanted. I took my car there for an issue to be checked. The guys in the service were very kind and helpful. They did a safety check and test drive. Found couple of unimportant issues and did not charge me for that. I was surprised since other dealers always try to rip you off. After a long 8 hour day of scouring the car dealerships of western Massachusetts the final stop by chance happened to be balise Mazda. When I walked in I actually spoke to the general manager first and was greeted respectfully. The salesperson, Ashely showed me the car I was interested in : a '09 Mazda 6 grand touring. Ashley was extremely knowledgeable and friendly about the car and was clearly very well trained. Much more than I can say about the other dealers on riverdale st. Out of all of the test drives it was the best because it wasn't just a loop up and down a road full of stop lights. I would highly recommend this dealer and the cars to anyone. I have been shopping for a used Mazda6 for a couple months and couldn't find the exact car I wanted but have been checking out the websites almost everyday. I brought my car in for routine oil change (which BTW is the best price possible at only $20!) and had some damage done to the side of my car from a minor accident. Balise has a scratch and dent guy in Auburn MA that they contract with. He came up from Auburn to assess my car and fixed the scratch from the accident, as well as three other spots on my car where I had large scratches they noticed and it was only $110!! I was visiting some relatives in Springfield and my car started to make some strange noises and the check engine light came on. Balise Mazda was the closest Mazda dealer so I called them and they had me bring it right in. They spent about 30 minutes looking at it and said they would need to keep it longer to determine the problem. My car is just out of warranty, so I'm expecting a big bill. They offered to get me a loaner car and said they would call in a couple hours. About an hour later they called and said they had to order a part and it would be there the next day. John from the service department calls me around 11 and says it's all set, pick it up. I asked how much it would be and be said no charge. He said that Balise was able to get the repair covered even though it was just out of warranty. That was sure a great surprise. I just got my first new car and I'm so excited. I compared a bunch of cars I decided that the Mazda3 was the one I liked the best. Then I sent in an Internet price request and several dealers contacted me. The first dealer I visited had the lowest price but after I got there the price changed to a much higher price and I wasn't feeling comfortable with the salesperson. My next stop was Balise and the salesperson was helpful and laid back, not pushy at all. Best of all the price was exactly what they emailed me. That was refreshing after the experience at the other dealer. They made me feel good about my purchase even though I was probably a pain since I couldn't decide on a color. After shopping around for an SUV my husband and I figured out that we liked the CX-9 the best. We are not big fans of car shopping and don't do it very often. We did a lot of homework online before going down to the dealer. They had the exact options and colors we wanted so we went to Balise Mazda. Much to our surprise they didn't fit the typical cardealer stereotype. They went over every detail on the Suv and even paired up our phones to the Bluetooth. I found the car I wanted online and sent in a inquiry. Balise responded quickly with additional pictures of the car and the Carfax report. They also allowed me to get pre-approved for financing directly on their website so I could compare to my credit union rates. When I got there the car was pulled up in front of the dealership. I recently had to buy new tires for my ' 91 Miata and shopped around at all the local tire shops. I was extremely surprised to find Balise Mazda was considerably less expensive for the same tire. I brought my Miata in, they mounted and balanced the 4 tires very quickly, showed me a couple areas where my car needed some work but didn't apply any pressure on me to do the work that day, and sent me on my way. I just bought a 2009 Mazda6 from this dealership (March 2011). I had Brian, Brendan, and Sonia assist me with questions and test drives. They were all very friendly and knowledgeable of their cars. They were casual and never pressured me into anything. Not that I would allow that anyway. When it came to purchasing my car Sonia was my saleswoman. She made the process easy and quick. Balise is known to be willing to negotiate in a reasonable way and Balise Mazda did just that. I hate car shopping. HATE IT. I always feel pressured by sales people, many who treat me as an idiot because I am a woman car shopping. My husband and I found ourselves needing to replace my car, and spent a good deal of time looking online for cars, researching makes and models for the features and reliability we need, and found ourselves at this dealership to look at a used Kia. Let me tell you, the easiest choice we have ever made. Their salesman, Justin, showed us everything we needed to know about the car and answered all our questions. But he didn't push the sale, rather allowing us to experience the car at our pace. He had the perfect balance of knowledgeable salesmanship, and laid back attitude we need in a sales person. He was friendly, and made us comfortable. He didn't make us feel rushed, and was quick to produce the car fax and all the other information we needed to make a decision. We left and went to look at other cars, but the experience (and the fact we LOVED this used Kia. Overall I was looking to trade a Toyota Yaris 5sp in for something that is safer for daily highway commute to work. I didn't need to purchase a new car, I just wanted to. So I went to a few other other then Balise. I will not mention the name of the dealerships prior to Balise. However I will mention the fact that, "they" tried pushing me into a new car. After a few weeks of dealership shopping, I came across Sonia at Mazda. She was very knowledgeable of the product that she was selling, kind, and if she did not have an answer for me, she made sure she researched for the answer to any questions that I may have had. Needless to say, I wasn't in the market to buy a new car cause I needed to replace an aging one, I ended up trading in for a much safer car for my daily commute. Her lack of pushiness won my attention, and made buying a new car well worth while. Overall, any of the Balise Dealerships are well worth looking into. Customer service is bar none. They adopted the " Saturn " approach to selling cars, and they never veered off of that, even after the folding of the Saturn brand of cars. My wife and I saw a Cx7 in the mall, it really caught our eye although we weren't really "in the market". After that we had to go to the dealership to see what this car really looks like inside and how it drives. WE LOVED IT!!!!! We weren't really ready to buy at the time only because we only had our car for a short time (9 months). But I have to tell you WE REALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH THAT CAR. We dropped off our 2002 Mazda Protege 5 for the service dept to check the trans.They told us there would be a min fee of 100.00 just to look at the car,well we thought it was worth it to work with someone who knows the car.We dropped it off and got a call the next day that not only was the car ready to be picked up,but there was no issue found and they topped off the fluids for us.So we picked up the car and my wife went in to pay, I stayed in the car with the kids,she came out and told me there was no charge!!I cant tell you how great that was, 100.00 in our pocket!! It was a cold snowy day and at month end. I know that helps, so I intentionally went in to deal. I've purchased many vehicles in my life (I'm 73) and I know the game to some degree. As a first time car buyer, I was in need of a lot of assistance and information when buying my car. I looked at a lot of different cars, but I really liked the Mazda. I recently purcahsed my new Mazda 3 from Balise Mazda. It was my first new car but I wasnt really thinking about a Mazda until a co-worker got one. I did some homework online and picked out the model and options I wanted. I went to the dealer closest to my home and they seemed very pushy and not very respectful. The salesperson didn't really answer my questions and kept running to some other guy everytime I asked about the price. So I went to the mazda website and Balise was the next closest. When I got there I told the salesperson what I wanted and he said if they don't have exactly what I want they will get it for me. The other dealer didn't offer to do that. He showed me their selection and I saw a color that looked different on the internet than in person and decided I really liked it. I had my father along this time but he let me do all the talking and negotiating. This turned out to be alot easier than the other dealer and I even got a little better price than I expected. Barbara who handled the financing paperwork explained everything to me so I understood what I was signing and several other employees seemed to go out of their way to thank me for my business.
